American Partners Bank, a full service bank, is dedicated to providing
high value financial services with an exceptional level of personal service.
The Bank currently offers its services via the Internet, telephone and
through its bank locations and offices.
The Bank was originally organized by the National Association of
Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) and commenced operations in
June of 2000.
The Bank was established as a specialty bank to serve the insurance
company members of NAMIC, their employees and independent insurance
agencies.
In April of 2005, the Bank merged with its Maryland-based thrift holding
company, Federal City Bancorp, Inc. The merger has enabled the bank
to enhance the range of banking services available to the NAMIC
membership,
and also develop its financial services offerings to serve businesses,
professionals and individuals in and around the communities it serves.
American Partners Bank currently has banking services and operations
in Carmel, Indiana; branch locations in the Washington DC Metro-area;
mortgage loan production offices in Florida, Maryland and New Jersey;
with its administrative headquarters located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Its
depth in management expertise will enable the Bank to create
a strong mortgage operation. The bank is led by an extraordinarily
high
residential
lending expertise for its size. The company’s management
experience is the driving force behind its unique model of different
distribution
channels, including licensed loan originations in all 50 states
and a nationwide franchise of NAMIC-endorsed independent insurance
agencies
and agents. Customers also enjoy access to decision-makers and
local underwriting and processing.
